This Privacy Policy explains how iSolicitude LTD, trading as “iSolicitude” (“iSolicitude”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in connection with the website at isolicitude.com and our client, affiliate and administrative portals (together, the “Services”). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
iSolicitude LTD is a digital agency operating from Jamaica. For all privacy matters — including any request to exercise your rights — contact our privacy team at privacy@isolicitude.com, or use our Privacy Request Center. For general enquiries, contact hello@isolicitude.com.
For most information described here we determine how and why it is processed, and we act as the data controller. Where our clients upload their own customers’ information into project files, messages or support conversations, we process that information on the client’s behalf and on their instructions, acting as a processor (service provider); in that case our Data Processing Addendum governs the processing.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and enquiry data — name, email, telephone number, company and message content submitted through our contact, booking, quotation or newsletter forms.
- Account data — name, email, telephone number, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in plain text), profile settings and security data such as multi-factor authentication enrolment and sign-in history.
- Client project data — project records, files you upload, messages, onboarding details, contracts and invoices.
- Support and conversation data — support tickets and live-chat or chatbot conversation transcripts.
- Payment data — invoices and transaction records. Payments are processed by PayPal; we never receive or store your full card number or security code (CVV).
- Affiliate data — affiliate applications, referral records, and commission and payout information.
- Business prospect data — business contact information (company name, business address, business email and telephone, website) obtained from third-party business directories and search services for business-to-business outreach, together with the source of each record.
- Usage data — with your consent, pseudonymous analytics about how the Services are used (pages viewed, referring site, approximate device type). We hash IP addresses using a rotating key rather than storing them in raw form.
3. How we use information and our legal grounds
We process personal information for the purposes below, relying on the corresponding legal grounds (performance of a contract, steps prior to a contract, legitimate interests, consent, or compliance with a legal obligation, as applicable in your jurisdiction):
- Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals (steps taken at your request prior to a contract).
- Delivering contracted Services, operating the client portal and billing (performance of a contract).
- Account security, fraud prevention and audit logging (legitimate interests and legal obligation).
- Service communications such as receipts, security alerts and project notifications (performance of a contract). These are not marketing and cannot be switched off while you hold an account.
- Newsletters and promotional email — only with your separate consent, which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every message or your preference settings.
- Analytics and session-experience measurement — only with the consent you give through our cookie banner or preference centre.
- Business-to-business outreach, based on our legitimate interest in marketing our Services to businesses, balanced by suppression lists, an easy opt-out and jurisdiction-based restrictions.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
See our Cookie Policy for the full list. In summary: strictly necessary and security cookies always operate; analytics (including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) and functional cookies operate only after you opt in; and you may change your choice at any time via “Cookie preferences” in the footer of every page. We honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal where it applies.
5. Who receives your information
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to service providers that help us operate iSolicitude — hosting, email delivery, payment processing (PayPal), analytics, bot protection and AI-assistant infrastructure — under contracts that restrict their use of it, and where disclosure is required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Our current providers are published at /legal/subprocessors.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data in the United States and other countries outside Jamaica. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on the transfer terms and safeguards offered by those providers and take reasonable steps to ensure the information remains protected to a standard consistent with applicable data-protection law.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, after which we delete or anonymise it in accordance with the schedule summarised at /legal/data-retention. Records required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or legal-defence purposes are retained for their applicable statutory periods.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location — including under the Jamaica Data Protection Act and, where applicable, the EU or UK GDPR or California privacy law — you may request: access to your personal information; a portable copy; correction; deletion; restriction of, or objection to, processing; withdrawal of consent; and opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information). Submit a request through our Privacy Request Center or by emailing privacy@isolicitude.com. We verify your identity proportionately, respond within the deadline required by the law that applies to you, and do not charge for a first reasonable request. If we decline a request, we explain the legal basis for doing so, and you may complain to your supervisory authority — in Jamaica, the Office of the Information Commissioner.
9. Security
We apply encryption in transit, password hashing, multi-factor authentication for staff, role-based access control, rate limiting, audit logging and the other safeguards described in our Security Overview. No online service can guarantee absolute security; if a personal-data breach is likely to result in a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as required by law.
10. Minimum age
The Services are intended for businesses and for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use them, and we do not knowingly collect the personal information of children. See our Children & Minimum Age Notice.
11. Automated processing
Our website assistant (“Nova”) uses artificial intelligence to answer questions, and conversations may be processed by an AI infrastructure provider. We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you by solely automated means. See our AI & Automated Processing Disclosure.
12. Changes to this policy
We version this policy. We announce material changes on the Services and, for account holders, may require a fresh acknowledgement. Each version shows its effective date and version number, and superseded versions are retained for our records.
